Wizard World 2007 Convention Pictures

These were all taken with my iPhone, btw. It's not as good as a real camera, since it's a bit weak on autofocus and has no flash -- but it's really easy to carry around and use, and for a camera phone it's freaking awesome.

Costumed Heroes:

Here's the 1st tier group -- great costumes, and they worked together:

Aquaman and Manhunter:

Aquaman, Manhunter, and fans:

Aquaman, Manhunter, and Wonder Girl(?):

Aquaman, Manhunter, X-23, and Midgets:

Aquaman, Manhunter, Flash, and Batman:

And, here's the 2nd tier group -- actually, not bad at all -- Straight Outta Gotham:

A better view of the really good Two Face:

A Wizard World Chicago exclusive! I found out that Bart isn't dead, he just got tired of the job stress and retired to run a taco stand near the Blue Line train.:

Power Girl chastises Steve:

Power Girl likes gay men, because they'll look her in the eyes. Eric, PG, and Steve:

Steve tries to pick up some spare cash to buy more comics:

The Tardis Dealership -- sadly, I don't have my license yet, and couldn't buy one:

This was outside the con, in downtown Chicago, but it's geeky-cool:

A view of the huge Dealer Room, down a middle aisle:

More views of the huge Dealer Room, panning from left to right, from a glassed-in stairwell:

Outside the Convention:

The most disturbing window mannequin I've ever seen:

The statue of Harry Carey outside of Wrigley Field, showing him absorbing the souls of children and channeling them into mystic curses on opposing teams:

Views from Steve's rooftop balcony - Steve, Other Eric, Ray, and Tracy's back:

Views from Steve's rooftop balcony - Tracy, Steve, Other Eric, Ray's back, with Lake Michigan in the background:

Views from Steve's rooftop balcony - Wrigley Field:

Views from Steve's rooftop balcony - Sunset:

LAX: Not-So-Subliminal Reminder: By standing in this freaking long line, you're saving America from the terrorists. (You know, the ones with the shampoo bombs?)

The Bean:

Between downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan is Millenium Park, and in Millenium Park is The Bean, a giant silver bean that reflects everything around it in cool ways:

A view from the side:

Again. I'm actually in every one of these pictures -- and so is Waldo:

I'm a bit easier to spot it this one...:

And again:

I really liked the city reflections in this one:

The view looking up from underneath the bean -- note that this image looks kind of like I'm looking down at people walking under the archway, but it's all reflections as I look up.:

Another view looking up again. This starts to look a bit... well... anatomical, if you get my drift:

Under the bean, but looking across at my reflection:
